If your design is based on an AMD K6 Microprocessor then PCC may be able to provide you with the identical CPU that you need or a pin-for-pin replacement that will work in your design with minimal or no printed circuit board design changes.

In addition, PCC is seeking OEMs who are looking for ways to minimize production cost and are engaged in the microprocessor selection phase of new designs. If your expected product life will require fewer than 50,000 units we can offer special registration pricing on these products while ensuring future availability. The end result will be that your company will produce a product with substantially lower production cost than if you use current technology.

This is product that mwas built for a leading OEM who never took delivery due to changes that took place in the desktop computing industry. In many cases these microprocessors will work in AMD K6-2, K6-2E, and K6-III designs without board changes. We can provide details along with factory certificates of compliance and traceability directly from AMD to our facility.
